GSA - PBS Insite

Without going into a lot of detail (because I'm not sure if I can), I was tasked with taking a lot of unorganized information and making sense of it all. With nine different color-coded entities all complete with heaps of information and all deserving of their own site, Information Architecture was a huge portion of this effort in the beginning.

The next step was to wireframe and design a content presentation framework that all nine business lines could use. The look and feel would then be shared across those sites with key visual variations (namely color palette) unique to each respective line. This not only would freshen the ~~unattractive~~ current look but would also draw on the users' familiarity with the system.

Unfortunately, all of the effort seems to have gone for naught as the project is now dead (cue the lost life sound byte from Pacman).
